Hidden Landscape is a dance theatre co-created by young choreographer Lian Guodong and Changsha Mid-Mountain’s Dancers. In this choreographic work, the body, rehearsal space, and time merge into a hidden mountainous landscape. Everyday objects from the dancers' lives—interesting, unnoticed, forgotten, and discarded—become dynamic props that extend and amplify bodily expression. The choreographer delves into the connections between the human body and various media, exploring the body's alienation and evolution in modern society, and its profound interaction with social realities. This creation continues to develop these explorations and reflections, representing a contemporary fusion of youth experiences across social layers.
